The first doorway

Start with a place.

Turn what you know about a venue into a useful arrival guide.

How do I create my first venue?

Create a venue in Rovunela, add an entrance and a destination, then connect them with passages. Describe the conditions along the way and where your information came from.

Use the missing-information checks to spot gaps before preparing a guest briefing. Start small: one entrance and one room are enough to begin.

Can I practice before planning a real gathering?

Yes. Explore Threshold Drills, Corridor Scenarios and the Ripple Studio Pack in the practice area. They help you think through entrances, route conditions and the effects of a shared doorway.

Practice progress stays on your device. Rovunela has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Does a briefing guarantee that a route is accessible?

A briefing shares the information you have collected; it does not certify a venue or guarantee that conditions will stay the same. Check important details with the venue and your guests, especially when an entrance or passage changes.

Keep your bearings

Pick up your thread.

Understand sign-in, local drafts and what travels with you.

How does sign-in work? Do I need a password?

Rovunela uses a device-based identity. There is no email-and-password registration or password reset. Sign in from the app to connect that device identity to your synced information.

Successfully synced venues and profile information can be restored when you sign in with the same device identity. Signing out does not by itself delete your cloud records.

My changes are not syncing. What should I do?

Check your internet connection and that you are signed in. Keep your local drafts, then try the action again when the connection is available. A failed request does not mean your latest changes reached the server.

If the issue continues, email us with the action you took, the visible error and the approximate time. Avoid clearing app data or reinstalling while you have unsynced work.

Can I restore everything on a new phone?

Restoration depends on retaining the same device identity and on the information having synced successfully. Recovery on a new device, or after losing that identity, is not guaranteed.

Notes, practice progress and exported briefings remain local. Keep a separate copy of important exported briefings.

How do I update my nickname or avatar?

Open your profile editor, change your nickname or choose an avatar, and save while signed in and connected. Successfully saved profile changes sync to your device account.

If saving fails, keep the draft and try again later. An uploaded avatar uses a public media link, so choose an image you are comfortable sharing.

Bring the details along

Show the way.

Photos, recordings and briefings that make an arrival easier.

Why can’t I add a photo or recording?

Camera, selected Photos and microphone access are used when you choose to capture or attach media. Check Rovunela’s permissions in iPhone Settings if access was denied. You can keep planning with text without granting these optional permissions.

Uploading media also requires a working network connection. Keep the original file if an upload fails.

Who can view an uploaded photo or avatar?

Uploaded media uses public URLs. Anyone who has a media URL can access that file. Avoid uploading private documents, sensitive personal details or images you do not have permission to share.

If you need help removing uploaded media, contact Rovunela@gmail.com and describe the affected item without sending sensitive information.

How do I share a guest briefing?

Prepare a briefing from the venue information you have entered, review the route and any missing details, then use the app’s export or share action. Choose an available destination in the iPhone share sheet.

Exported briefings stay local unless you share or save them elsewhere. A shared copy will not automatically update when you edit the venue; prepare a new export when the route changes.

Your space, your choices

Know what stays.

A little clarity before you clear anything.

What does “Clear App Data” remove?

The app soft-deletes synced profile and venue records before clearing local app data. This is not complete erasure of the server identity, uploaded media files, backups, exports or copies already shared with someone else.

Export anything you need first. If you need additional help with data removal or uploaded files, email us before clearing your information.

Where can I read the privacy policy and terms?

Read our Privacy Policy for information about device identity, syncing and uploaded media, and our Terms of Use for guidance on using venue information.

For privacy questions or requests, contact Rovunela at Rovunela@gmail.com.
